Who is Mr. Brock and why is he so weird?

I was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky in the go-go 80s. I attended Whitesburg High School and Berea College. During my student-teaching, I taught at Berea Community High School, Berea Community Middle School and at Leestown Middle School.

At Berea College, I majored in Social Studies Education. Surprising, right? After college I moved back to the mountains and started teaching at Pikeville High School.

I married this lady named Courtney in Pikeville and then moved west to start teaching at the ROCK!

I finished my Master's Degree at Campbellsville University early in 2012. That means that I am the master at teaching and therefore the best ever!

In my free time, I play guitar (poorly), play video games (poorly), read, play basketball (poorly) and swim (well, actually I float) among other things. I'm really into Seinfeld, computers, ancient history and professional wrestling.

Some of my favorite bands are The Impossibles, Weezer, Kiss, The Get Up Kids, Dashboard Confessional, Radon, Husker Du, Jay-Z, Ben Folds, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Oasis, Kanye West, Common, The Ramones, Nirvana and the Smashing Pumpkins.
